Free Hip & Knee Screenings

Saturday, April 26 | 9 a.m. – noon — Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell

Have you been experiencing hip or knee pain? Wondering if you are a candidate for joint replacement? Meet one-on-one with an orthopedic surgeon who will conduct a free screening and recommend next steps. Participating surgeons who will perform the screenings include Dr. Hari Bezwada, Dr. Arjun Saxena and Dr. Michael Ast. Please wear shorts or loose clothing.

 

Understanding Autism

Thursday, May 22 | 6 p.m. — Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell

Join Dr. Goldfarb for this informative program about autism, which is the fastest-growing serious developmental disability in the country. Dr. Goldfarb will discuss what red flags may suggest autism in a child and what to look for, what is needed to make a diagnosis, and what treatments can help with the various symptoms associated with autism.

 

Cardiovascular Disease Prevention and Screening

Wednesday, June 4 & Thursday, June 5 — Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell

Led by experts from the Capital Health Heart & Vascular Institute, join us for a free seminar on June 4 at 5 p.m. to learn ways to prevent cardiovascular disease, and make an appointment for the following free screenings on June 5:

• Carotid Artery Duplex

• Varicose Vein Inspection

• Abdominal Aortic Ultrasound

• Blood Pressure and Cholesterol Testing

• Lower Extremity Pulse Examination

You must attend the seminar to be eligible for the screenings. Sign up by Monday, June 2.
